Two days in München!

Hello! A while ago, I spent two days in München. It is the capital city of the German state - Bavaria. Almost 13 million people live in Bavaria. River Isar flows through München and it lies in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. After Berlin and Hamburg, it's the 3rd largest city in Germany.
Now here are some photos!
...so this is was our starting point!

Platz der Opfer des Nationalsozialismus

Glyptothek museum at Köningsplatz. It's designed in Neoclassical style, built in 1830. It's a part of Kunstareal.

 Propylaea at Köningsplatz.

New Juliuzpalast. Created in red brick stone in neo-gothic style. It's a court building.

Justizpalast on Karlsplatz. Built in neo-baroque style.

 Justizpalast from the other side.

One of the three gates - Karlstor - survived to this day, it's from the medieval times! View towards Karlsplatz.

...now we're behind Karlstor, on Karlsplatz! That's a large square in central München. (Also called Stachus.) Shopping center, restaurants, shops...
Oberpollinger - a large shopping center.
Louis Vuitton - a French fashion house founded in 1854 by Louis Vuitton. So it was founded 162 years ago!
Swarowski - an Austrian producer of luxury cut lead glass, founded in 1895.
Zara - a Spanish clothing retailer founded 42 years ago.
Tally Weijl - a fashion label based in Switzerland. It's represented worldwide.
Hirmer - a fashion house.
Interesting statues of München!
Neues Rathaus.

Now we're on Marienplatz! The city's main square since 1158.

A nice park.

And we're at the beginning again! This is an equestrian statue of Ludwig I - who was a Bavarian king from 1825 to 1848. It stands on Odeonsplatz.

And finally - BMW Welt! It's a multi-functional customer experience and exhibition of the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (the whole name of BMW). In direct proximity, there's the BMW Headquarters (picture 1) and the Olympiapark.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Have you even been there?
