Hey! This is the
last Italy post. And it is about Vatican City! Enjoy!
Vatican City, officialy
Vatican City State or State of Vatican City, is a walled enclave within the city of Rome. It is the smallest state in the world, both by area and population.
Crossing the bridge from Rome to Vatican City. I was walking
Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II. The
Tiber river flows under the bridge and next to this bridge is
Ponte Sant'Angelo which you can see on the 3rd picture.
Basilica Papale di San Pietro in Vaticano. An Italian Renaissance church. Designed besides all by Michelangelo!
Palazzo Apostolico. The official residence of the Pope (currently it is
Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio).
